Fearless Five By Four Boxed Set by Chioma Nnani
Five stories by various authors.

Because Home Is ... by Chioma Nnani
Because Home Is ...: a collection of short stories about finding home, going home and being home by Chioma Nnani
Starts with about the author.
Cassandra was glad to be home....her spouse and family were there and she surprised them by being there earlier than expected.
She travels a lot and everybody helps. It's all the little things that count.
Goes into different family members and what they want out of life. Another story is about Felix and Trisha and how they will be together for another 25 years.
Goes back to when they first met and how enthralled she was with him but things change over time.
And last is about Sean and his many wives and children. His mother doesn't know what it is with him but he's different now.
He is worth a lot and women tend to seek him out because they want a portion of what he has. Each of the wives has a story and you learn about them and how he moves on...
Last story is about 'the one' and is a story about Jade and how she can't forget.
Excerpt from Forever There For You is also included at the end.
Love how each perceives being home as something different.
I received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.

Ifechidere by Chinedu Enechi
Ifechidere By Chinedu Enechi
She is born and before she knows it she loses so much and others take her in to care for her. Hate that others make her their own personal maid but she is able to get beyond it all.
She has faith and strength and is very brave to deal with reality.
Part I can relate to is when Steve takes a liking to her. Wedding plans are made and before that the meeting of the families to decide on the event and ceremony.
She is very accomplished but is not sure about him after a bit of time has passed. He travels for work and never really has told her just what it is he does.
Don't care for the ending because it's a cliff hanger. She has so much more of her life, maybe we'll read about it in another book in the series.
Glossary of words and phrases are listed at the end of the book. Felt lost reading the book as I'm not familiar with the language and slang. Like the area and details of what is there for work and shops in the area.

Murder At Midnight by John Ukah
Murder At Midnight Series: An Alex Simpson Mystery, Book 1 By John Ukah
This story starts out with Alex and he's arriving at the Lodge to recuperate from Typhoid fever.
He has been there before and felt it was home to him. Last time two people had died. He is immediately introduced to several who are also there.
He meets the mother and daughter later as they sit to have dinner. It's a small collection of people and they have their quirks with one another.
Maria, Alex thinks is in love with one if not more of the men and is trying to escape her mother. She had lost her spouse in a car crash and is left with cruces to get around.
Love that she knits, I do also and find it calming.
Maria approached John and told him of her getting the letters of a love affair and she's not sure what to do with them.
Shortly after we find she's been killed and nobody knows who. John used to be a cop and all of them come to him to tell him of why they think they possibly had killed her accidentally.
John digs and finds out so much more information about them all and the real cops are there to investigate. Another person comes down really sick and others think it's rat poison mixed in with cocoa.
I like mysteries and am usually very far off guessing who did it. This was the same although I remembered some secrets to some clues but was no help to me in the long run.
Really enjoy this series and hope to get to read more from this author. Very detailed descriptions, would make a good movie also!

Survival By John Achile Yusuf
Enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more from this author. Couldn't put the book down.
Book starts out with the students that are just back from National Camp and the team going to South Africa will be leaving soon to represent Nigeria.
The reason I enjoy these types of stories is because the children have grown up and are very resourceful.
After the plane crashes the students band together as they have landed in a jungle. One girl is very smart about animals and tell them how to protect themselves.
Some make spears out of long poles. There is a lot of bloodshed and so many wild animals.
At the same time some parents are hounding the police to find the wreckage and the students. There are clues that the kids survived...
Love how one uses what he has to set up a signal heard by others to direct them to be saved.
20 days later they are rescued, some in bad condition, others in worse and some mentally beaten up.
Lots of travel, action, adventure, survivalist skills and living off the land.
Glossary of words are explained at the end of the story.

Forever There For You By Chioma Nnani
Enjoyed this story about a young girl who is spoiled being the only child in the family. She lives in Nigeria and wants to be a lawyer and go to university in England.
She is an over achiever and makes friends as soon as she arrives at campus. Nadine has many relationships throughout her young life.
Troubling times when she is no longer appreciated and she lets it go to her head. Such abuse is so horrid to read about and hate the way it all turned out.
She had no idea who was really there for her.
Glossary of words used are attached at the end.
Excerpt from the next book is included.
Received this review copy from the book reviewer yellow pages and this is my honest opinion.
