Heart-Healthy Instant Pot Cookbook by Lauren O’Connor MS RDN
Lots of full page color photos.Table of contents where recipes are broken up into food categories and meals.
Introduction talks about the smart foods you can make, how beneficial they are for your heart.
There are colored sections that you should take note of, they provide further important information throughout the book.
Like how the meal is broken up into only 3 sections where eggies and fruit take up half the plate. Lean portein and whole grains take up the other half.
Chart form showing what foods go into which food category.
Another chart shows what foods you should not be eating and which to limit.
Each chapter of recipes starts with its own table of cotnents listing the recipe and page numbers.
Each recipe starts with a title and which category the meal is most related to.
Brief paragraph of the meal is summarized.
To far left column:servings, prep saute, cook and others and total time.
At end of this column is listed nutrtitonal information, per serving: calories, total fat, sat. fat, cholesterrol, sodium, potassium, magnessium, carbs, sugars, added sugars, fiber, protein and vitamin K
There is a large variety of things you can make, fun and healthy to eat and very appearling.
There are NO individual pictures of each recipe.
List of ingredients is given and some recipes have a large amount of them, be sure you have them all before you start.
Tips are given at the end of the recipe. Conversion tables are listed at the very end of the book.
Refernces and index are also. included. Acknowledgements and about the author are included.
My favorite would be soup recipes as it's that time of the year again.
I received this review copy from The Callisto Publisher's Club and this is my honest opinion.
