Mar 28 Book Review: The Transported Duke (Roguish Gentlemen Book 2) by Lisa Torquay

The Transported Duke (Roguish Gentlemen Book 2) by Lisa Torquay
This story starts out in Australia and we find Lady Matilda on her way there under an alias name.
Story is also following Hadrian who was next in line to be the duke, after his father passes away.
Problem is Hadrian was accused and found guilty of killing his best friend and they sent him to work on the road project in Australia for 2 years.
She has arrived with very important paper in her possession that will shed on her visit to see him.
Throughout the book she's just over the moon with his appearance and has a hard time keeping her hands to herself.
When he views the papers he's forever in her debt and they next find themselves in England. He's very protective of her before they get there and thereafter.
Like how this all plays out, the mystery of the murder and how he recreates the scene, finds clues others missed and how she actually finds clues with her appearance at social events.
The couple come to an understanding then fall out of sorts. Love how his sister helps bring them together as they had all once played together as kids, in the country.
Love use of musical instruments and detailed descriptions of clothing, their own sea voyages, foods, outside areas. Like how they solve the drug issue and all those involved follow through.
Lot of characters play a part in the events and outcome that occurred.
Spicy adult situations.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
