Book Review: The Time Peddler by Michael Mazwell

The Time Pedaler by Micheal Maxwell
Like style of writing with this author so didn't even go into seeing what it was about.
It's a time travel and it's in hippie years in CA. Love the old house they buy and the all the hidden rooms and treasures they find.
Chant is now in public schools so different than his last commune school. He adjusts and sets out to find out more about a letter he found. Librarian is so helpful.
He understands with the journal what the machine is all about. You peddle it, set coordinates and you're on your way. He discovers he can spend hours at a new location but really only be gone a minute from present day.
Love the research he does to decide where he wants to go....  His sister has no problem adjusting to the new life, she makes friends easier than Chant..
Love the store his parents set up, they live upstairs from that.  Especially liek the people he meets and the difference they make in the world.
Very descriptive scenes and making sense of things.
Great read, have read so many time travel it's not one of my favorite genres any longer but this book has so much more to offer the reader.
Terrifying moments when he's not at home and the saga continues in the next book...
