Book Review: Wife For Sale by Tabita Gutu

Wife For Sale by Tabita Gutu
In this story we find Mary and John and their baby Adam. They are at odds with one another. He wants to come home from work and just eat and watch tv and go to bed. She's been with the baby all day and knows what her husband expects. Sometimes her hair is mused  or her clothes not in order or stained and he hates that.
Story also follows Michael who's lost his wife Nicola a year ago and he is being driven around,  when he notices Mary and has driver stop the car. He just cries and they continue on. He brings the doctor the next day and shows him and he's not daydreaming. She looks exactly like Nicola. Michael comes up with scheme to get Mary and her son and can't believe how easy it is.
Michael has agreed to NOT keep Mary on the memory drugs for too long.
John goes about his lucky self, single and has tons of money. ... until he uses all that money.
Family members come to the house and meet Nicola which is really Mary.
He has to be truthful to Mary as she's coming off the drugs and wonders if she will run back to John or know she's got a trsuitng husband in Michael...
Crazy story but I can really see this happening.
Received this review copy from the publisher and this is my honest opinion.
