His Forefathers and Mick by Michael Kramer
Enjoyed this book about a family of sons who went to war over generations.
I had never heard the stories located in Africa and other countries. The strategy moves were interesting, just wait and have them come to us and how they actually worked.
The perspective was a bit different than other war books I've read. Different angle and openness of when first arriving at the country. Vietnam was an eye opener, only read about foxhole rats who scurried along the underground trails to get to other locations, all the while watching for booby traps.
Wasn't bloody and gory but more about the feelings and why things happened the way they did.
Received this review copy from the publisher and this is my honest opinion.
