The Organ Broker by Stu Strumwasser
Didn't think I'd enjoy this story as much as I did.l
Starts with NY Jack who is an organ broker. The story starts with his caree and we learn all about the other side of things. SO very realistic it sounds like today's world. Very detailed descriptions you can see the scene in front of you.
Lots of travel that was fascinating to me and hearing about situations why they were there was another story in itself. I can picture my relatives who work in the OR being involved in the organs and who gets what. Some are young kids that he makes a deal with them so he can make a profit by selling to the billionaires that can afford them. Like hearing about his connection to a client that he has personal ties to. Like hearing the realization of relationships over the years and how it really effects him.
