This book is about Steve. When he fought in the Saudi Arabia war/Iran. Lots of deployment to clear houses and buildings of the enemies. Sounds like a book that describes what my son went through over there as a leader. He did not want to stay behind in the barracks, that's not why they were there. He took every mission offered. Very detailed accounts of the missions and they left Steve wondering a lot of things that he knew he couldn't ask and nobody would have the answers. He finds a lot of evidence to what's really going on but others took it out of his hands to deal with. Some he knows was just destroyed and he still had questions...as a soldier you have to just turn the other way and continue on. Soul searching read.
