Each recipe starts with a title and has a list of ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low fat, low sodium, low sugar and fresh vs canned items.
Directions are given and includes servings, prep cook and total times.
Nutritional information includes calories, fat, carbs, protein, cholesterol and sodium based on 2k calorie diet.
There are NO pictures.
Some recipes call for a large amount of ingredients, be sure to have them all first.
Broccoli fries would be my first choice to try, mostly love that nutritional information is all 0s for fat, sodium.
And to go with that I'd love to try the sloppy Joe's Chicago style, perfect combo!
Lot of everyday meals, love this book

There's a lot to choose from in this one. Forewords discusses  the smoothie. Intro talks about calories and other aspects of weight loss Charts are included showing what you could choose for a smoothie and why they are considered.
Health benefits of smoothies. Meal plans are included for weeks.

There are NO pictures. Different flavor combinations really struck me as wanting to try them.

Great resource book.

Some titles are explained in more detail as the title doesn't give it away.
strawberry cookies would be the first recipe I'd try, so simple and not many things to get. Many bread recipes, so many I want to try there.

There are NO pictures. I remember my grandmother making it and my brother loves it, looking to give him a gift from a recipe of it, maybe from this book.
There are a few worth trying.
