Finding Hope by Pamela Gossiaux
Starts with a listing of the author's other works.
This story starts out with Emma and she is meeting up with Victoria (Tori) in the city but first they stop at an art exhibit, then onto the bar to meet up with a blind date for Tori.
At the museum Tori realizes who is in the paintings and they get to meet with the artist-Matt. She remembers him also from an artist retreat he and others had at her B&B at her horse ranch.
The doesn't go so well but does bring her and Matt together where he visits the B&B and they get to talk to one another again.
Story goes back in time to when she was married to her first husband but realizes years later that he was emotionally abusing her. She is an author mostly about her horses, the bloody shouldered Arabians.
She brings up the horse paintings again and they hope to come to a compromise about the use of them.
He knows it will end his career on the road showing them around the US and he hopes to get permission from her...
Misunderstandings occur and one posing as one he is not comes to her ranch and the next day her horse is gone. She fears for the horses life as they are blind. She is an excellent trainer and knows her way around her horse, Hope.
She and others follow many leads til they track the horse down. Medical emergencies occur and physical harm and the world they knew can never be again.
Love how she tries to stick up for Matt and get him through the bad times and her research and all she's able to do. Love how brave he is during the pain.
Lots of emotions and I was able to find SO many treasures: lavender plants, widow walks (I live on the East coast so am very familiar with these), being blind myself, St. Ives statue (similar to one at Gloucester fishing port in MA) grass bracelet, religious quotes throughout the book relating to the situation, building a sandcastle and teaching others how to paint, holding their hand in his.
Like hearing of the history of the area. Like how the author gets your familiar with the area when Tori shows Matt around town. Very descriptive in details.
Didn't see the ending happening as it did, WOW! Book ends with an excerpt from another in the series, another one that sounds super!
Ends with a listing of the authors other works and about the author

Salt Air Secrets by Joanne DeMaio
Book starts out with authors other works, dedication, table of contents and the story.
So much of the past never heard before is brought up to the beach gang and they know 15 years is a lot of hurt and pain. Lots of happy good times also.
Everybody else has their own secrets as well and the 10 year anniversary of Neil dying and Sal just a year ago has brought upheaval to the community.
New romances are about as some struggle to keep who they have.
Learned so many more new things in this book about the gang but it can be read as a stand alone. Love hearing of design, architecture and lobster fishing techniques.
Next book in the series is mentioned and I can't wait to read that one.
Received this review copy from the publicist via the author and this is my honest opinion.
Her Knight Wore Scrubs by Lynne Marshall
This book starts out with a note from the author about the writing of the story. Other works in the series are also highlighted.
Story starts with China, an ER nurse in LA at Mercy, INC. She runs many charity events always calling on help from many others to make the events a success.
Eric is a PA and his father is a Chief in the same hospital. Eric and China are often thrown together to aide those brought in to the ER.
What I love about this book is that I often will watch medical dramas on TV and never know what it is they are doing. This book explains about the thing they put on your finger and why, and all the other instruments they use and why and the reports.
China needs a MC for the big fundraiser and asks Eric and he accepts. While at the dinner her sister makes trouble and get Eric to donate money if China will go to dinner with him. They share many dinners and get to know one another.
Loved hearing of the teen driving event and how everybody pulls together to make it stick to the teens that you don't drink and drive. When she is having dinner at Eric's house a natural disaster happens and all they can think about is getting to the hospital to help others. Like a story where you hear both sides of the story.
Love their devotion. Their romance blooms until they spend time in bed and the lights go on and she panics because of the scar on her legs. She is adamant that he leave and never contact her again. She's not come to terms with her past and why her leg is the way it is.
She also tells him off about how he has to stick up for himself with his father....
They both need work to fix their past lives and you know it's never going to happen.
Action, adventure, mysteries, secrets, romance, medical scenes, just an all around good feel book.
Enjoyed this read and how others step up to help them achieve their goals. Can't wait to read more from this series.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
Bitter Autumn by Lyn Cote
Trish and her brother both work for the local sheriffs office, he being the head sheriff.
She's puzzled by the game of chicken and how others are getting hurt on the foggy nights on the deserted roads out of town.
Grey has also returned, served his time in jail for the crime he was committed of doing.... others want to see him gone and while the story is going on
you also hear from the side of one who is trying to set him up for another murder. Kidnapping or a child has run away, the cops just know the child is gone and it's night time.
Grey comes up wit the solution and he grabs Trish to help him out as it's her nephew.... Grey helps so many out that he can't be blamed for the recent traffic crashes and fatalities...
Never expected some events to take place, it's so unpredictable. Several end up at the hospital with heart issues because they are under so much stress.
So many secrets come to light and this is a high action adventure, bit of romance, solving crimes and a good all around story.
Was on the edge of my seat through the whole book, couldn't read it fast enough.
Like the ending when all is brought to the forefront and also leads you into the next book in the series. There is an excerpt of that also enclosed.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
That Undeniable Longing: My Road to and from the Priesthood by Mark Tedesco
Deep thoughtful book of how one becomes an ordained priest. Have grown up in the younger years attending Catholic school til high school days where the whole family of 5 switched to public schooling due to costs of uniforms for all.
Our local town has a Novitiate and churches and a nunnery at one time, seminary school, etc. Never though of the process that Mark and Marcus took over the years to become ordained.
Lots of new travel to me to Rome and other foreign countries. Love hearing of all the places, famous and some quiet peaceful settings. Think I could people watch for months in these locations.
Describes in detail all the young men go through in daily life and when they return back to the states for a summer break to return to Rome again.
So fascinating to me because of things I learned. Very descriptive at times I feel as if I was there. Wicked honesty.
Bit shocked on how things turn out at the very end but as long as he's happy is the important thing.

A Match to Call Ours by Merrillee Whren
Story where Brittany relocated to the area to follow her boyfriend but they soon breakup. She moves into an apartment with a girl friend but she moves also but in time she was introduced to Parker and his kids.
She had also done sub teaching and doesn't care for some grades of kids and the pranks. She accepts the job on the remote ranch and falls in love with the girls.
Love hearing of the little things like sleigh ride, toboggan and snow angels and gifts around Valentine's day. She puts her trust on the line when she takes the girl to town one night to the play.
She fears for her job after that and she confronts Parker about facing the town-there are so many there that believe in him. Parker goes with them to meet her ex and he's involved with cancer research and Brittany has no clue why they connect to one another.
Like how little clues come out over the length of the story so we really find out what happened and how he adopted the two twin girls.
Love hearing of the companionship of the housekeeper when she teaches Brittany how to knit, so precious!
Main problem is Parker had given up on God, lost his faith til girls start praying at dinner for the calves and when they are all fine the next morning he wants to start believing again. Love hearing of the moves he makes to make things right.
Handful of characters, easy to keep track of who is who and then the townsfolk appear. Didn't see the end happening but I love it!

Laws of Attraction by MK Lansbury
Yasmin works for a lawyer firm where she puts in 80 hours a week and then some in hope to climb the ladder as a partner.
She's handed a case and using her own experience she's able to step up and give them her opinion-being a child going through it. The divorce is quickly solved and she's due for a day off when she learns her lawyer friend didn't show up for work the next day...
She visits with her sister Sara and her husband and her mother in IN and upon coming back to Chicago she's shown into a meeting with the partners where they give her the news she's been waiting to hear. Depending on her handling of cases she may be the next partner.
Holden Craine is the lawyer she will be going up against in the Smith trial. Mac wants the whole company because it was all her idea and she manual labor that made it a company, Clayton had just come with money to make it happen
til they find out other hidden secrets that gives Mac an edge up.
Between seeing one another more often outside the office to spending time with her family she's very busy.
Parts I liked the best were the anxiety attacks and how they are handled-so up to date and caring. Big Brothers agency and what that involves and how Yas plays a part in the turnout.
Ending and what happens with the law firm and her family-so many events come together real fast, easy to keep track of them all.
Loved the story line, and how it all came together. Didn’t see all the twists and turns til they happened and
they only enhance the story. Learned so many new words from this book-looked each and every one of them up!
Enjoyed learning about Chicago and nearby towns.
Ideas she has are brilliant to say the least, not only for the law firm but personal things that happen outside the firm.

1-800-Cupid by Josie Riviera
First time reading this author and loved all the details. Love learning about different locations in the book, felt as if I was there also!
Story starts out with Candee (works at the local hardware store) and she lives with her sister, Desiree (works at country club) and she's into real estate. She bids on the mansion at the end of the street and no one has lived in it for many years.
She hopes no one else wants to buy it-it's in Roses, NC. Story also follows Teddy and his friend (Rob) in FL and they are into helping his nephew who needs medical surgeries. Teddy meets her and expects a woman over 50 as the real estate business has been operating for over 30 years.
Candee shows other places in the area to Teddy and he shows an interest in her mansion-she thinks it's hers already. She plans to redo the place for disadvantaged children.
He and his friend hope to flip a house for a living. She is heavily into beagle dogs and volunteers also at no kill shelter. Misunderstanding and you wonder if they will ever be together again...
Lots of surprises in this book and like how they change plans and just go with things.
Love ending did NOT see that coming. Recipe at the end-another surprise!
Other works by the author are highlighted at the end. Can't wait to read more from this author.

I'd Give Anything by Marisa de los Santos
There's two stories in this one book that intertwine together.
Story starts out with Ginny and she's just learned from her spouse, Harris that he's been fired.
She learns so much more, but he keeps a LOT of other secrets to himself. The teen daughter also finds out, not much but she reaches out to the girl he was a mentor to where he worked.
Avery learns her side to the story and at times can't believe her father did some things.
While this is all going on there is another story here in between the pages. Ginny when she was in high school and the group of her friends one night a terrible secret came out to destroy one and a fire kills a fireman...
Ginny spends time in later years at the park talking to Daniel and others at the dog park. She is able to discover some clues to that night so long ago...
Harris has a sit down with his wife and daughter as they ask him questions and he informs them of his hardships dealing with everything and who he turns to for help.
Very emotional story and how it all works out I found unbelievable.
Received this review copy via giveaway at Library Thing and this is my honest opinion.
Lessons and Beliefs: Searching for Love in the Gay World by Mark Tedesco
Was hesitant to read this book because I am not interested in the gay world but in relationships yes so I agreed to read and review this.
Really happy I did, love the quotes at the start of the chapters from well known people-some of my favorites also. Many of the experiences I had a glimpse of from the authors other works that I've read.
At times it's very happy times then things just go wrong or it takes time for them to go wrong and some even go into counseling because the relationship means so much to them.
At other times I felt the lead character was being taken advantage of but he didn't want to face that, I think it would mean a breakup which he did not want under any circumstances.
Fear of cancer gets him moving in the right direction, knowing he may not have the rest of his life... Love the action he took against one to get what was his, shouldn't have had to go to the extremes it did...
I am so jealous of all the travel, totally a treasure. That and all the new words I learned.
Not sure I got it all but was seeing it as a man and woman and could see that happening.
Experiences of a lifetime in just one book, can't wait to read more from this author.

A Dubious Rock by Gerald J. Kubicki
Really enjoyed this mystery and thought when it first started out it was to be a 1940's war book.
Just a dream but it seems all so real. There is so much action and special teams that come to the aid of the police and other forces.
Just when you think the Homeland Security team is in the clear they are shot on again and they have to ramp things in. They do have connections and that really helps.
Like the subject matter as I did not know much about the rocks at all. Entertaining for me.
Especially like the excerpt about the pollution going on in the oceans of our world and a book in the series.
Was on the edge of my seat when I heard about the women and how there were able to subdue those after them with their special kicks and other devices they used.
They need to set up a school so others can learn from them. Action, adventure, mystery, cartels from all over the world and so much more.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
What Means the most by Hazel Taylor
Short story of a woman who returns to where her grandmother lived on the island of a few thousand where everybody knew you and your troubles.
She meets up with the boy that was like a brother to the family and he is there to welcome her back to the island. He's back from fighting the war and she's there to bury her grandmother.
Reading of the will the family find everybody was included in her generosity and the house and special instructions are left for Morgan.
The grandmother had kept something of hers when she was just a young teen and she wanted her to complete the wishes...
Quite the list and Cadence will help her finish them all.
This is the first book in the series and there are four in total.
Excerpt from the next book in the series is also included.

A Week at the Shore by Barbara Delinsky
Book starts with dedication then the story. Goes way back to when the character was a young girl and all the memories til she realizes the camera is the secret she uses.
It captures so much more than she can remember.
Joy her daughter and her were to read a book together but she started it without her mother.
Mallory now is a professional with her camera taking real estate pictures. She gets a call from her old hometown, Westerly, RI which I am familiar with.
Jack grew up together and he is her best friend. Her dad scolded Jack and he's calling to tell her that he also had a gun.
Jack thinks her dad shot his mother....Joy talks her mom into spending a week at the shore with her relatives: Annie her sister and her dad.
As they arrive in town to walk around and get lunch Annie calls from the walk in clinic where their dad has injured himself and they meet there then onto the home...
So much happens when the family reunites and other friends come visit and she learns the real truth about her father. The relationships throughout the years draw close together with the tragedy as they all try to heal with loss and sorrow.
Surprised when she has her job to get back to in NY but she still has memories of RI.
Like family secrets come to light, learning about approaching dogs, healing, locations, friendships, photography, catching up with family and funeral arrangements in detail.
Other works by the author are highlighted at the end.
I received this review copy from St. Martin's Press via NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
A Change of Scenery by Debra Parmley
This story starts out with Clarissa, a belly dancer and she's gotten divorced when she found her spouse with another, and also with her own attorney.
She just wants to head to the Cayman Islands and get away from it all. Strange things happen when she goes to the ticket agent and she signs a paper that she'll get a vaccine before flying.
She has second thoughts when she is knocked to the ground by a woman and a man in orange shoes is following her. She is allergic to so many drugs, she makes her own at home through trial and error.
She ducks into a lounge but find it's dark, chairs have been ripped open and there's a white dust all over the place. She can NOT get out of the room so she sits down on a clear spot and falls asleep.
Before she knows it a SEAL man is there waking her and telling her to change and to leave the building with a bit about the harmful dust and vaccine. They are tracking her somehow and he knows it.
They fly off in a taxi, then head to his friends, then to a motorcycle, drones can't locate them when they are sandwiched in between big 18 wheelers.
This sound so terrifying but there are times Warren acts like he's married to her and she enjoys the kisses. It's all part of his plan...
Lots of action, romance, adventure, technology and hot spicy sex scenes, what a combination for an excellent read.
Like the ending, didn't think it'd happen at all! this way. Book ends with about the author and publishing company and other works by the author.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
We Know the Truth do you? by Debra Parmley
Collection
from many authors about Area 51. First trip we took to the area we had
researched what we could do but ran out of time in 6 days to visit
there.
...
The Road to Groom Lake by Debra Parmley
Glad I read Change of Scenery prior to reading this, all fit into place.
This
is one of a few dozen stories about Area 51. Starts out where Clarrisa
is living near other herb specialists as she finds out more about the
powers of the seeds from her relatives.
Warren has left
to go back to work for the government but she finds she is with family
at the colony. Soon she learns otherwise and her life is in danger but
she remember things Warren had taught her...
He is
alerted and he heads to help rescue her once again. Terrifying times in
the swamp, creatures she has to endure and knowing what is happening
back at the colony. She knows Gator will come to aid her, in time...
Can't
believe how the twists and turns really transform this whole story from
where they were. Husband even enjoyed listening to this story as it had
a lot of action and adventure.
Not quite what I thought it would be but glad Clarrisa and Warren were not done in the first book-Change of Scenery.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
His Special Angel (Mercy, Inc. #2) by Lynne Marshall
This story starts out with a table of contents then the story.
Mallory has raised her daughter and she's getting ready to attend the college of her choice, on the east coast which is very expensive.
Mallory had been working longer shifts, putting money away but nothing near what she needs even with the scholarships her daughter had won.
She's heading to meet with the head doctor who used to do rounds and was such fun but now he's not so fun with all the paperwork he has to do and others have noticed the change.
... She gets him to ER where they run tests on him and she heads back to work.
After his surgery she is given the chance to take care of him on weekends for extra money.
He had written up a special document that prohibits the use after a time and to allow him to die. She wills him to live and we then learn more about him, his homelife, his ex wife and his upcoming travel.
She listens and is able to learn more about his sudden illness and with his help they discover what it could be and JT, the patient questions his doctor about it.
So much comes into play, so unpredictable and he has a fight on his hands. More that just one as he alienates his special nurse.
Great story and as in the first book I learned about some many surgical procedures that really make this a great read. I see everything done on medical dramas on TV and they had not made sense to me.
Loved it for so many reasons: learned new words, love hearing about caring people, love careers where one uses their hands and brains, family life and just caring.
Love the unexpected ending with the help of her daughter, so cool! Other works by the author are highlighted at the end.
About the author is listed at the end.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
Dancer by Jenna Rose
Story starts out with Brock and he's the mob boss and he's noticed a girl and tries to entice her into having a meal with him but she has other plans and heads home.
Story also follows Hope who is now living under Darryl's hand and has to dance to earn money that she owes him because her now dead parents were given money from him and now it's her debt.
Mobsters all turn up on her first night and Brock sees her and pays off her debt and takes her home. He has no idea what her last name even is....til his second in command tells him.
Very erotic detailed sex scenes. Like story line especially when she learns of the truth and she thinks he had killed her parents. She runs and does learn the real truth at the courthouse...
Thought this would be so much more about dancing-either in ballet or a troupe.
Love how some of her dreams come true. Other works by the author are listed at the back.
The Worst Christmas Book in the Whole Entire World (Entire World Books 3) by Joey Acker
Was hoping to be taken away from the madness we are living in but found it took me to another madness.
Was kind of funny cuz I kept waiting for something to happen and there is no magic in this book.
Very dull but kept my attention to the end. It's everything that is not Christmas related, mixed up locations and everything else.

The Mystery at Claw Mountain by Paul Moxham
Have loved this series and books can be read as stand alones. I was able to get a lot of them for free when author promotes his books so have read most of the works.
Kids are at their grandparents house in Scotland and they brought Will along also. SO many adventures as they discover the farm, lands, pond and claw mountain.
Love the dog as he has super powers and he aids them in their troubles. Like that the parents allow them to sleep overnight at the shepherd hut after they clean it all up and even carry wood up the path.
Love all things snow and the kids do also. They get into the thick of things when they go exploring INTO the mine at the mountain. Before long they are in deep trouble.
So many events occur, they get captured, escape and caught again. Dog helps a bit and it's fun to learn about what's in the mine.
Loved this book and can't wait to read more of the kids adventures.
Loved hearing about the farm in Scotland and hope they get to visit soon again and do more exploring.

Liked this longer length book as it's so detailed in the conspiracy of the government.
....
The Mystery of Treasure Island
The Mystery of Treasure Island by Paul Moxham
Have enjoyed the series, stand alone books by this author and they remind me a bit of the Hardy boys but this is so much more explained in details and descriptions.
Starts out where the children and their friend Will are in the Caribbean.
Starts when the group goes on a tour of a volcanic island and after the earthquake and some secrets they find they are held up by pirates...
Days later Uti, their tour and pilot has other errands to do so they tag along.as the parents go shopping.
Problem is with the severe thunderstorm they get thrown offtrack and are able to land on water of an island they are unfamiliar with.
The pirates find them and the kids are a bit smart about how they rescue the pilot and leave with the boat....
Love they finally get to visit the animal reserve and I love how they are going to spend the reward money-it's something I would do.
Had me on the edge of my seat, fast paced and so detailed you feel as if you are there and can experience all the bumps and bruises and excitement and the fear.

My Grandpa's Secret: Book 1 A Child's Freedom by Gracie Jayne
Was hoping for a feel good story but that's not this book.
This is about a boy who's taken away from his foster home to go live with his brothers and grandparents.
Til they are officially adopted everything is fine then the abuse occurs.
To save his brothers he goes through years of abuse starting at age 7, anal penetration and other sexual disgusting acts.
There are other books in the series but I felt I had read enough of the very descriptive graphic details.
Story could've been told with no graphic events but the author chose otherwise.
I won't be reading the rest of the series.

The Mystery of the Runaway King by Paul Moxham
This book starts out with series listings of the authors works and praise for his writing.
Story starts out in Wales and the children along with Will were visiting with Will's father who is a writer and the kids will entertain themselves.
They are familiar with the area as they have visited before and they plan to camp out in the woods near the house. They first buy some ponies for several days and head to the lake where they spot a girl coming out of the water.
They talk to her and realize she's staying at a friend's house and Sophia is to go there and ask permission to camp out.
Kids gather and help Sophia with her tent. Overnight the storm moves in and one hears a dog whimpering and goes to investigate. She is kidnapped and removed from the site. She attempts to get away and remembers some moves she used prior to get away.
Others at the camp start looking for her and after talking they all realize they got the wrong girl. That's when Sophia tells them who her father is.
There is so much action and adventure and yet more mysteries as the children are able to go to places they are familiar with to stay out of the way of the men in black cars-they know it's the Golden Dragons now and they are also trying to overthrow the country's government and Sophia is a big part of it.
On one scary road chase they go off the road and get assistance from Bridget. So many places are visited along with new ones and you wonder if they will ever be safe again.
Love the Eagles Nest and all hidden treasures there. LOVED the new words I learned-had to look them up to get various meanings.
Can't wait to read more adventures the children take me on.

The Mystery of Hidden Valley by Paul Moxham
This book starts out with series listings of the authors works and praise for his writing.
Kids are all going to travel with Will and his dad and all they care about are adventures. They meet up with Tom, a most helpful teen who gives them clues as to where the hidden valley is, through a tunnel.
There are many ways to get there, some not so convenient and the kids have a grand ole time in the lake and riding on the ponies. Tom is to return the next day as he has other work obligations.
Kids find so many things and end up in trouble and I love how they reason with what's there to find a way to escape. They go above and beyond in this one. Every book I read I keep saying to myself, this is the best ever and every time I read another it's the best book ever.
Just when you think they are doomed, they stop and think and look and it's right in front of their eyes. Liked other new characters introduced in this book and their jobs as well.
Can't wait to read more about the adventures!
Authors listing of latest works and just released are summarized along with buy links. Except for Claw Mountain is included.

The Mystery Series Collection (Books 1-3) by Paul Moxham
Three stories in this book
...
The Mystery of Smuggler's Cove by Paul Moxham
What I like about this book is that there is one brother and two sisters and they meet Will who knows a lot about the locale.
He shows them the caves and one day Joe goes by himself to investigate. Lucky the girls help rescue him later in the day..
When they go with Will another day they go far into the caves-reminds me a bit about game of thrones as they have caves and tunnels under the castles.
This one they learn is where men meet and bring boxes in and will go during night hours to bring the goods to the boats to sell to others.
Very scary that they are only kids. Almost like a Hardy Boys mystery so am enjoying it.
Reminds me also of our local rum runner smugglers off the beach via the drain pipes that are big enough to walk through.
Brave kids and like what they find out and where...
...
Mystery of Adventure Island by Paul Moxham
This longer story is about the kids and how they are given instructions on how to sail a boat and are given one for themselves to use.
They sail to an island and don't expect to be gone long but things happen that prevent them from getting off the island.
Their boat gets damaged on rocks, they find caves, the find a house and are able to put a few clues together to realize they are in big trouble.
A woman officer comes to the island impersonating herself so the kids help her out.
They are able to put a raft together and the men chase them and the raft falls apart but they are saved from that disaster.
They put more clues together as the cops swarm the island.

The Mystery of Four Towers by Paul Moxham
This book starts out with series listings of the authors works and praise for his writing.
Story starts out where the children have raced to Darby's their favorite store. Will gets bored and there are no mysteries so he decides they need to just make one up and he concentrates on a man that sits nearby.
The children end up following him and they see later he's been kidnapped so the police are alerted and the real story comes out.
They next read about Four Towers and that it will be open the next several days to the public, for free. Kids set off to go explore and end up in one of the most fascinating mysteries ever.
Their friend from long ago has returned but he ends up going missing but he's also told them of a secret tunnel and how stones are pressed to make an opening accessible.
So many things to captivate their attention and help when it comes to times they are being chased. Love where this one leads as the girls are the ones in charge and have the big choices to make.
Jewels are up for the grabs also. I can just really picture this as a movie. The author describes it just perfectly, not only can you be there right besides them but you can feel the emotions they go through.
Wonderful ending, never saw it ending like this!

The Mystery of the Amphibious Jeep by Paul Moxham
This story starts out when the kids are just done with school for the summer and they have breakfast and head to Will's house to go to the beach.
While there they have fun in the water and watch as a vehicle comes out of the water and drives on the beach.
Have seen these in our police/fire department for water rescues and have sat in them at Duck adventures in Seattle.
Kids invite the man to their house for dinner and while there the dog is late getting back into the house so the girls goes to look for him.
One remembers she left her sunhat in the jeep so they climb aboard and before they know it the jeep is moving. Two men that Tex had met earlier are stealing the jeep.
The mystery starts and the girl goes on a trip they had not planned on. They are able to follow them once they stop ....
Like how this one ends, only the girls are on the mystery ride.
Can't wait to read more of this series. Just love them all!

Fun and colorful children's rhyming book showing all kinds of emotions and opposite ones.
Love the little gremlin bugs that also show their emotion with words and happy faces. Other ones show their sad faces and words to match.

Sasha and his Red Leash: A picture book about safety and fun for dogs lovers (The secret Diary of a Lucky Pup 1) by Yossi Lapid
Colorful, children's rhyming story. This story starts out with Sasha and he knows he's a lucky pup. Further sometimes rhyming words tell you what's on the pages about why the dog is so lucky.
One thing he does not like, the red leash but Big Boss Bob explains to him why he must use it-to keep himself safe from harm.. He tries to bury it, put it in a puddle and hide it in a drawer...
He just wishes to be free... cute how he does get a wish. Like questions in the book that ask 'is Sasha safe here?" and you can figure out the answer...one side of the book shows a safe place, other side a harmful place.
Good that you can see what is really going on.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
