Snow Dance by Alicia Street and Roy Street
Amanda is new in town and opening a vintage line of clothing. She meets Russ at the hardware store where she gets the paint from.
Russ talks her into hiring his younger sister, Casey who's finding it hard to help with her cancer ridden dad and her mom went back to the bottle, school and a younger sister.
Love hearing how Amanda talks her into setting up for dance moves. She's not smiled in so long and Parker is so happy to see it.
We also learn more of their background lives.  Amanda finds things missing, and other strange things happening.
Very descriptive details and few characters, easy to keep track of.
Twists and turns all around, enjoyed the read and will read the next in the box set.

Great keeping up to date with the others in her family as we were introduced to them in the previous book.
Like twist of the fortune teller. Their relationship takes different turns and twists and plans are made but with hestiation...
Sex scenes. She's lucky to have her best friend Natalie around when things  don't go exactly as planned...

Touch Me and Tango by Alicia Street and Roy Street
This story starts out with Tanya-dancer who had traveled throughout Europe for the past several years.
She's part of a couple with Andre. Mark is her fiance and she finds out he needs to marry to get his inheritance.
She had always been in love with Parker-the nurseryman back home.
She's returned to take care of her mother who's now disabled... There are a lot of repairs that should be done while she's there...
Her mother wants them to locate the treasure and be rich... They need to get Parker to help but he hung up on Tanya... She also needs to make amends with Parker's sister Casey...
Her and parker have history and he even still has the ring.
Death threats and other life emergencies make them realize their time together may be short.
Lots of action, adventure, mystery, sex scenes, treasure hunts are just a bit of this book.
Love hearing of the wheelchair ballroom dancing, priceless!

Stars, Love and Pirouettes by Alicia Street and Roy Street
This story follows Jenna and her brother has just gotten married. She's a dancer in the city but has recently taught classes in her hometown.
Love the discussions about stars and other galaxy items.
She's taken a leave from the ballet and she is staring in a movie. Now she has options, not only with work but with men.
Love catching up with the others in the family and town.
Great series.

Going Back by Judith Arnold
Phyllis and her two friends always shared lunch together once a month in the city.
Andrea and Eric are married and will have Eric at their house when he arrives til he gets settled.
They had met him in college and hope he's as good looking as then.  Daphne is a real estate broker and they them to coordinate a place for Eric.
They both recall what happened 8 years ago and hope the other had forgotten.
Lots of drama as Eric looks for a new place-his parents are divorced, live in the same building and still hook up but don't live together. Each of them think the other parent has got their hooks in Eric and is persuading him.
Steamy sex scenes as their relationship is moving forward. Love the parts where he shares info on his parents and she actually listens.
Lots of twists and turns and just when you think it's being predictable it is not.

Focus on Love By Candee Fick
Like the cover because of all the knitting on the front.
Free egift at the beginning. This story starts out with Liz and she's opening gifts.
The family is into the phtoography business and she's a great addition.
Jerry had been stealing her ideas for the company and coming off as they were his...
Her grandfather had wanted her but things didn't work out...
She prays often to God and knows she needs to go after new dreams: acting and forget about photography... til she gets paid for her photos...
She gets a call asking when she returns home, for good...after 3 years she has yet another job ad won't be coming home. Her father cuts her off from the family til she apologizes and comes home to work as a secretary for the photography business.
Not familiar with the areas so it's fascinating to me to learn about them and the very detailed descriptions make me want to go, along with the various acitivities available, outside.
Ryan and his family, priceless! Love hearing of the time they spend with his family, fills the void she has in her life. Love the church setting and how welcome it is with what others are wearing.
Love the synch they have with photography, I share the same with my husband.
Hate how the parents treat her but love her new life.

Love, Second Time Around by Penny Appleton
Story starts out wth Maggie and she's heading to the seminar in Edinburgh. Through many sources of travel she does arrive, in time and sees her old friend Greg. They had often been on opposite sides of the table, both are fighting for their side to win-environmental oil issues.
She put a lot of work into her research and is a bit thrown off by finding him there. They do connect but she keeps her distance.
When they meet up later and spend the night at the same hotel after a conceert they draw closer. She needs the money to fix up her square cottage.
Love parts of the land and surrounding areas that are described. Love also the US locations as I've been through many. Love learning about the new places to explore.
Lvoe hearing about the horses and the places they are able to get to. When they meet for another meeting in the city her boss finds out she's spent time with Greg and she's fired. He does find out and I like hearing what he did about it. He has the solution if she will agree.
Love hearing of the native Indian customs and tradiitions. Love the escusions. You wonder if they will ever get to connect again. Love chats they had about their past lives and kids as they create new memories.
Can't wait to read more from this author. Wish some parts she had spent more time on with more details because I really like to learn new things.
Beautiful story! Love that it's about older people, not those in their 20's because the problems are different.  This book has something for everybody to enjoy.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.

The Soldier Who Killed a King by David Kitz
Wasn't sure I could get into reading this but so glad I got a review copy.
What an awesome read. Starts out with Marcus and he's the Roman soldier in charge as life comes to the city for Passover week. Growing up Catholic I was able to follow so much of this story.
Some parts of the story really helped me understand what really happened during that week and the resurrection that is commerated as Easter Sunday.
Like following the solider around as things are explained in words I can understand-just had to click on some words and the online dictionary would load up and tell me what the word meant.
So many details and very descriptive you can see in your mind what's going on. Wish they had taught us this version when we were growing up-it's so understandable and clear.
Wasn't able to read the print version due to my poor vision after trying all my other glasses and magnifiers so got a kindle version that I could control the font size of the text. Would highly recommend this book, enjoyed the read.
Espeically liked the ending.
I was given the review copy by the author via Book Fun (The Book Club Network) and this is my honest opinion

The beautiful lost by Luanne Rice
Starts out with the teen daughter, her mother gone, her father married a new woman Astra.
Love treasures I find in this book: whale room and all the associations with her mother.
She would see Billy Gorham standing at the window-his mother was murdered by his father...
Celestrial navagation and the sextant, another treasure! Mia sees a therapist but she feels bad for others who have to wait.
Hearing about the cairns brought tears to my eyes as we seek them out.
The plan is in motion and she takes Billy with her and he knows how to do things. Loved being on the Morgan again and learning more about the decks below.
Love the journey of where her plan will take them on, enjoying the journey so much.
Love personal message from the author, so touching. Resources listed at the end.
