Deadly Defiance by William Manchee
Have enjoyed all the other works I've read from this author and the saga continues in this one.
We find that Stan has taken on another lawyer and Jodie-his research assistant is now a full fledge lawyer herself.
They each have their own cases and it's interesting to learn the new lingo and to find out how they figure things out for each of their cases.
This one has twists as Stan's wife Rebekka is also undergoing some medical problems that they have no answers for...Like rhythm of the office with the 3 of them.
Can't wait to read the next one. The stories are so real and things that are happening occur in present day situations.
I received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.

Two Little Trains BY Margaret Wise Brown
Starts with about the author and her works and why she wrote them.
Listened to this story but I can imagine all the colorful pictures making the pages move.
Story of two train one is heading west. Tells about the trains and the differences.
Talks about what they do at the mountain and have to climb it and go through the mountain.
Many other things they had to cross.
Love how one of the trains is a play train in a tub where the child has used a lot of his toys and furniture in his house where the other train was on the same track.

A wandering heart by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer
Story starts when a film crew comes to the island and some of the crew stay at the inn.
It's such a small town where everybody knows everyone and things get hectic.  We learn how the other neighbors live and what their concerns are.
Eliza runs the inn, Clire runs the kitchen. Crew have made arrangements for the crew to spend the days there while they film at different locations around town.
Charlotte takes a break sitting on the eocks by the ocean. a huge wave takes her and the current has washed her far from the shore. Colin and his boat rescue her...
She has a lot of secrets from her past and hopes to keep them to herself. She likes Colin as they meet often but she knows she won't be on the island for too much longer-no sense in spending more time with him.
Colin likes her also but he knows she will be leaving very soon-no sense spending time together.
Mriacles happen on the island. Like the story line and how things happen in the order they occur. Bit predictable.
Love the island reminds me of the one we grew up on, so many simlar parts.
Recipes included. About the authors are included at the start of the book. Can't wait to read more of this series.

E-I-E-I-O_ how old MacDonald got his farm by Sierra_ Judy
Listened to this story. Story of how Mac got his farm. Love how this is the perfect story for starting youngsters into gardening.
Mac didn't want to mow his lawn. He's tired of doing that....he got a goat who would nibble at the edges then he'd eat the hedges.
He then got a chicken, she told him how to put newspaper, shirt, water from rain and he had mud then. The neighbors protested, they didn't like the changes.
Garbage will make things better as they layered the kitchen waste and he continued to get more animals.
Compost it came to be and he got seeds, and before he knew it he had a garden that was growing food.

Ten pigs an epic bath adventure by Anderson_ Derek
Listened to this story. One pig and then along comes another pig. Love that the narrator tells you what's showing on the pages.
The tub is too full-no more pigs! Others join him til there is ten and there is no room for anybody.
One has a wolf costume that he uses to scare them all off but one pig.
