The Mystery at Claw Mountain by Paul Moxham
Have loved this series and books can be read as stand alones. I was able to get a lot of them for free when author promotes his books so have read most of the works.
Kids are at their grandparents house in Scotland and they brought Will along also. SO many adventures as they discover the farm, lands, pond and claw mountain.
Love the dog as he has super powers and he aids them in their troubles. Like that the parents allow them to sleep overnight at the shepherd hut after they clean it all up and even carry wood up the path.
Love all things snow and the kids do also. They get into the thick of things when they go exploring INTO the mine at the mountain. Before long they are in deep trouble.
So many events occur, they get captured, escape and caught again. Dog helps a bit and it's fun to learn about what's in the mine.
Loved this book and can't wait to read more of the kids adventures.
Loved hearing about the farm in Scotland and hope they get to visit soon again and do more exploring.

*The Mystery of the Golden Dragons
The Mystery of the Golden Dragons by Paul Moxham
Starts out with Carrie and she's visiting the kids for several days with her dad is off to Monrovia for business.
The kids go on an adventure but they are being followed and watched as they sail to an island to spend the night.
They are kidnapped and taken out of the country to Monrovia where they learn Mr. Chang is taking them to meet the head boss at the Golden Dragons.
They are lucky is some regards as one of them has stowed away and keeps track of them but also gets help from other fighting the Golden Dragons organization.
Lots of mystery and discoveries as they are chased, escape and captured and the chase is on once again. They do meet up with Carrie's dad and for a bit they are able to foll their captors.
Lots of sights and hidden rooms are discovered that aide them again in escaping. They find the coolest of places to hide.
Liked this longer length book as it's so detailed in the conspiracy of the government.

The Mystery of Treasure Island
The Mystery of Treasure Island by Paul Moxham
Have enjoyed the series, stand alone books by this author and they remind me a bit of the Hardy boys but this is so much more explained in details and descriptions.
Starts out where the children and their friend Will are in the Caribbean.
Starts when the group goes on a tour of a volcanic island and after the earthquake and some secrets they find they are held up by pirates...
Days later Uti, their tour and pilot has other errands to do so they tag along.as the parents go shopping.
Problem is with the severe thunderstorm they get thrown offtrack and are able to land on water of an island they are unfamiliar with.
The pirates find them and the kids are a bit smart about how they rescue the pilot and leave with the boat....
Love they finally get to visit the animal reserve and I love how they are going to spend the reward money-it's something I would do.
Had me on the edge of my seat, fast paced and so detailed you feel as if you are there and can experience all the bumps and bruises and excitement and the fear.
