Book Review: Yoga Holistic Healing by Bonnie Golden
Yoga Holistic Healing by Bonnie Golden
Book starts out with a dedication page then the chapters, each concentrate on a part of the body.
That's what I am most interested in-certain parts of my body that need healing more than others.
Introduction is where the author talks about her personal challenges and goals.
There is a lot to learn about the history of yoga and what each part of yoga mean.
There are sections in a different color that pinpoint important things you should consider and learn about.
There are a lot of drawings/sketches that show the human body and all the parts of it along with their names.
Parts of the body and which symptoms they can alleviate are also highlighted. Like that the book wants you to design your own routines from the symptoms you are having.
Love how they show you using different colors on a person's body which parts of your body will be strengthened from the exercises shown and how to change them up a bit.
Exercises showing one doing them are a bit on the small size but the words explain what you should be doing with parts of your body.
References, resources and a pose index and a general index are included at the end of the book.
Acknowledgements and about the author are also highlighted at the end.
Received this review copy from Callisto Publisher's Club and this is my honest opinion.
