I Feel Anxious by Aleks Harrison
Colorful, rhyming, children's book about overcoming anxiety outbreaks.
The family is moving to a new house, new location and new school.
Max has a lot of worries, about EVERYTHING. His parents try to help by being silly and drawing pictures and that gets his mind off his problems.
When he goes to school he's not sure who will even eat lunch with him, if kids will like him, etc.
What a surprise he gets when he walks into the classroom!
Love when the family is sitting at dinner, love this tradition, and they all talk about what they did for the day.
Love that the parents also have anxiety and talk about hwo they conquered it themselves. Max gets his say also.
Love how some scenes are put in clouds showing you what Max is concerned about.
Methods used for Max also works for his mom.
Note from the author ends this story.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
