Table of contents has chapters and recipes inside.
Intro talks about  how herbs and spices can help control things such as high blood pressure and more.
Herbs are listed with a summary of the benefits each has and which part of the herb or spice.
Next chapter discusses how each of the 23 herbs and spices will help with a particular part of the body or illness and which part to actually use in cooking.
Some of these are sister plants to ones we use already. We also use a large amount listed already with our high blood pressure and other ailments.
Restrictions are listed and to be sure you are using the plant correctly for the most beneficial outcome.
Some recipes are included, they do NOT start at the top of a new page.
There are NO pictures and NO nutritional information.
Each recipe starts with a title and a line or two about the item.
Prep and servings are listed.
Ingredients are listed and  they are very fresh. Directions are given and tips on how to use.
Conclusion finished and summarizes the book.

Full page color photots but not sure which recipes they go with.
Each recipe starts with a title.

Servings and some nutritional information: calories, fat, cholesterol, sodium, carbs, and protein are listed.
Main part of the page is a list of ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low sodium, low fat, low sugar and fresh vs. canned items.
Directions are given. All are deep fried.
 Recipes are named from North American states or provinces of Canada and other countries around the world.
They even have one for Rhode Island which is where I live. There are no recipes for frostings.
Large variety to choose from and you can make them healthy.
Useful recipes and easy.

Majority of the recipes are homemade vs. store bought and they do contain fresh produce and herbs and spices.
NOT every recipe starts at the top of a new page.
Some ingredients you may find it hard to locate at the store. Some recipes have a large number of ingredients, be sure to have them all.
Conclusion ends the book by author telling you to practice and exerpiment with recipes and ingredients and to leave a review.

Full page color photos, NOT of the recipes but the Asian area they are from.

Not sure where to get ingredients like brown seaweed, has to be a specialty store where you can find it and other ingredients from the recipes.
Quite a large selection to choose from.
