Book Review: The Tale of Was and Das

The Tale of Was and Das (2GETHER picture book collection 3) by Marin Darmonkow
Starts with dedication page and then the story.
The orphan boy Was and his dog Das live in a dumpster between Fartsville and Burptown.
They clean up the dumpster and find so many books they pile them on a higher level and now they have a library.
Was reads the books to Das. The smell is not so bad at the top either. To clean the area even further they decide to build a big dinosaur with all the items in the dumpster.
Love how they get others to help do this and the name of it. Such team work and recognition. love the outcome.
Children's very colorful full page pictures help tell the story along with the words. Thought this would be a much more darker read but it’s not at all.
About the author and illustrator concludes this story.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
