Starts with TOC where recipes are listed Introduction discusses the Memphis area and what they are famous for.
Each recipe starts with a title and has a list of ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low fat, low sodium, low sugar and fresh vs canned items.
Some contain prepackaged items and canned. Directions are given. There are NO pictures and NO nutritional information and NO servings.
Would like to try the cornbread as it's a bit different than what we use here in northeast.
BBQ pasta salad sounds really good, will give that a try at our next family gathering.

Each recipe starts with a title, prep, cook times, servings.
 List of ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low fat, low sodium, low sugar and fresh vs canned items.
Some contain a LOT of items, even canned, use fresh to cut down on s sodium.
Be sure to have them all first.
Directions are given. Not sure why they want you to heat the oven and heat a skillet. instant pot does all that.
There are NO pictures and no nutritional information.
Confusing book.
