Simple Strength Exercises for Seniors Over 60 : Boost Your Health and Independence: A Safe and Easy Guide to Staying Strong and Active by Thomas Irwin
Love this book and will be sitting in my to keep pile. It has so much information depending on your level of activity. Each section states what parts of the body the exercises are geared to target.
Love that the exercises are shown with man and a female and how they are done. The description of the exercises is so precise and in step by step instructions. I do many of them shown and happy to learn there are more that I can't wait to try.
There are references throughout the book and they are listed at the very end so you can look up the research yourself.  Love that it tells you how many times per week you should do the exercises, especially the strength ones.
Nutrition is also discussed in detail. Love how it all plays a big part in the exercises as we age.
There are minimal items you might need to do the exercises, well worth every penny. my Medicare plan actually sends me a home kit.
A KEEPER!
