Taming the Highland Beauty by Gerri Russell
This story is about Gille and she lives at the castle where others are looking out after her. It's 1743 at the MacLeod's castle. She is part fairy and part human. The fairy god Oberon, has put a spell on her but she wants to reverse it, if it can be done but she also wants to help Callum's mother transition to beyond. Love how others are able to trace back to when William kept notes and there are things mentioned that might play a part in their lives. The seals are against her and her endeavors to find out what she needs. The British have been attacking others are blame the MacLeod's but they claim they were nowhere near the places. There's a lot going on as Gille and Callum travel back to find out what they can, find seal pelt and learn a chant and get a special moonstone. There are only days left when they realize they are in love with one another. Love the ending to this series but sad to see it end. Will keep following the author for her new works. Love how she explains about things in the book, how it all makes sense once she tells you more secrets.

What a fascinating educational book to help you understand about climate change. It just changes everything in our lives. It lists all the culprits and explain about the different atmospheres we have on earth and there are solutions. We use about 99% of them already. Unless everyone does it won't make a difference.
Enjoyed all the references noted in things that where stated.References are also listed in full at the back of the book with links for further information and study cases.
Learned so much just even about the atmospheres and the staticts on them.
Liked that there are real life stories from others towards the back of the book brining the personal touch to the book. Appreciate that as there is so much technical information included.
Love that each chapter has a summary, in case you missed a point that was discussed.
Like hearing about what all the culprits are and how they have evolved over time and how much worse it will be in 2070. Scary at times but eye opening.
Definitely a reference book to keep handy as there are lists of things we can do now as humans to combat the changes. Simple things like brining your own reuseable bag to the store, using refillable bottles, ditch the plastics.
With list of solutions there are pros and cons listed in columns so you can see the choices and make your own decisions.

This story starts out with Ivy who runs the tea shop and her sister Holly runs the bakery. They share the same kitchen in Hazard.
There are a lot of characters in the town that ocme to light in this book. Jackson is an architect and he's going to sell the stores that others run their business. He plans to head to Boston for a bigger paying job.
The history society plays a part in this story also. Love how it all comes together. Love the magic and the bets Ivy makes. Lots of twists and turns and even a dire emergency while others are flying kites at the mansion....
So much to this story, light read but funny at times and tragic .

Love that they suggest she stay at the cottage nearby so she can get a feel of the things going on. Love how Nathan brings her up to the picnic and she loves just the peaceful sounds.
She even invites her mother and she's a help as well. Love how they take her suggestions and run with them, the first being a wedding cottage for marriages. Blake and Mallery will be the first. This book discusses what inflammatory disease is and how to get it under control.
The top 10 common causes are highlighted at the start. For every potential problem there are things you can do to avoid them.
Love section where they list substitutions for food that is harmful with something that is much better.
Never realize just how harmful where you live could be to your health, never mind inactivity, stress, and sleep.
Better understanding of the connection between inflammation and chronic diseases. This you can also get under control.
Scientific evidence and others stories in this book really take what's going on to your own level.

Enjoy the wisdom shared at the beginning of every chapter from famous people.
There are also worksheets to fill out that are linked at the back of the book where references are.
Myths and the truths behind them are explained in detail so you will have all bases covered.
The one that sticks with me especially are the costs of healthcare and expenses and things about social security not lasting.
Like the breakdown of various 401's IRA's and ROTH accounts and the features to having each one. Pitfalls to watch out for before you have to use them are also discussed. Love how they tell you to take your time, encourage your time away from work at the very beginning and how to go about things slowly. There is no rush to making poor decisions.
There are lots of questions an advisor should be asking you, about how you want to spend your years, and doing what to help you afford to be able to do things you enjoy.
Love that they point out to withdraw on the earnings made, not the principle. How to avoid taxes and penalties on withdrawals is another really detailed section to look for.
we use everything discussed in this book along with treasury bonds for our future.
Life insurance and annuities are also discussed and the thoughts of legacy you want to leave behind.
Create a new budget, learn new things, stay active are just a few things you can do to live longer. There are so many strategies listed in this book to keep you on the right track.

Cryptocurrency Investing for Beginners: The Ultimate 30-Day Step-by-Step Guide to Easily & Safely Invest in Crypto, Build Wealth, and Avoid Costly Mistakes—Even if You're Starting from Zero
Read this book fromstart to finish. And when I am interested in really investing with crypto I will read it again and follow the step by step instructions. Learned so much from this version, mostly about taxes, just how secure email is and how to store your important data offline. I would still follow the forums and other leaders in the market for more insights. I would nto want to risk what we've earned but with my side job I could dabble in crypto with that. Has so much information and I love the glossary words and what they mean. Like real lie stories, good and bad. Full of references, resources online at the very end.
Really great resource book for our library.

Cracking Cryptocurrency for Beginners: From Clueless to Crypto-Confident, Simple Strategies to Master the Basics, Avoid Scams & Grow Your Wealth - Even if You've Never Invested Before By Alex Mosby
Learned a lot from reading this book. Starts out with the author giving you teh outline of the chapters.
Each chapter starts out with keywords that are explained as they will be used in that chapter, and others,. There are resources listed and a question and answer section to make sure you grasp what the chapter was about. The answers are found in the chapter and are multiple choice.
Summary of the chapter is also included.
Some chapters tell of others fortune and some misfortune from others.
The step by step guide is really easy to understand and there are a lot of choices for you to make.
Also like that it goes beyond the beginner level and even discusses the language the system is programed using.
The full glossary is included at the back of the book for further references.
Like personal touch with how he got involved and what it could mean for you also.
There are a lot of internet links to help you understand things more. There is a lot of reading involved to fully understand it all.

The Dr. Formulated Diet: 7 Fat Loss Facts After 40 + 5 Fast Flat Belly Facts by Dr. Amanda Borre DC
When I first read the summary I knew this was a book for me. I watch my diet and exercise and it doesn't seem to help at all for me.
Very informative details. Love how she tells you what to do and then explains why and the how of things to really make it work for you.
Macro items I would have to read again there's a lot there I didn't quite follow.
Love the what foods to eat and which to avoid. Never knew there was that much sodium in white eggs, peas and other items. Love all the cures using pink Himalayan salts. Going to try the dry winter skin cure today.
All aspects of your body as explored and taken apart so you can live your best life. Everything from sleep, exercise, pooping and so much more.
SUPER KEEPER!
What I especially like about this book is that it is easy to understand and follow along. There are goals to set and how to pick the right chair for you and accessories.
The workouts consist of warming up, cooling down and the exercises themselves. What I love is that the exercises are shown in pictures pointing out what your hand and legs are doing and in what directions, also the details are written out.
Love that there are sections for beginners and advanced classes for harder exercises.
Also love how they target different areas of your body. I'm more into the strength exercises and balance and there are some for those problems areas.
They also tell you how long the exercise will be so if you have just a few minutes don't pick the one that will take 20 minutes.
Love mindfulness at the end and help for your mental stability.
Benefits of using this book are outlined at the very beginning. Gives you advice on how to breathe also.
A KEEPER, handy for daily routines.
Love this book as a lot of it relates to me. I have the disease he mentions and I do get vertigo. It's a nightmare when they occur and he explains how to get over them and how to still be able to exercise.
What I love is that the book is easy and simple to understand. There are links to videos that show you how to do the exercises. There are simple beginner lessons, advanced and also challenges that go further.
There's a lot that comes into play when you're a senior, one over 65. The science is explained in detail along with pictures.
Everything in your daily life plays a role in balance: disorders, diseases, strokes, arthritis, cardio issues, medications, dehydration, nutrtion, not being active. The book has so many more listed and also solutions on how to fix all that.
The problems go on: right shoes, lighting at home, rugs, clutter, etc that also need attention.
Love the exercises themselves, easy even with weights and resistance bands to promote muscle and bone strength. Love the energy these give me after doing them. No more naps for me.
Set your goals for daily routines, seasonal balance challenges with solutions.
References are also included at the end along with about the author.
A KEEPER
Book starts out with Victoria (Tori) and she's now the mayor in town. She's worked herself to this position because she listened to what others want and she knows how to go about things to get things. She and her siblings were left with a grandmother when their mother died. Then grandmother passed from cancer and Tori was old enough to head out to find a new home for them all. She found Destiny's River and settled there.
Story also follows Cade who runs a horse ranch and has mineral springs on his property. She has to break through his exterior to find out the things that matter to him.
They do spend time together while researching how other locations run public mineral springs and then he takes her to his springs. He actually gets her up on a horse, one of her dreams for many years and she loves it.
Lot of giving and taking to make things work for the town. Love hearing a bit about the other siblings and what they doing and hope others show up in town to join Tori. Great series. So very detailed with descriptions and characters and how to tend to the horses, very step by step processes and why they do certain ones.
Received this review copy from Tule Publishing and this is my honest opinion.
Story starts out with Maury and she lives her brother and she works as a clown for parties and events. Because of Joels gambling she's been in debt forever.
Story also follows Max who runs the family jewelry store. His mother lives with him til she marries Preston, happening very soon.
The two form a nice relationship. he saves her from stealing to pay off the debts. He knows how much her work is worth and offers her a job within his company doing the big event. He also gets Joel a job coding but he ends up in rehab and seems to be getting back into the swing of things.
Things go great for them but his mother still wants him to marry a society woman. She finally relents giving him the thumbs up after a talk with Preston.
Things get mixed up and they break up. He has to do extreme things to get her back in his life.... Love the details of each of their professions, quite interesting. Love her quirkiness and fashion sense. Love how they rather go for a picnic and open up to each other rather than 5 star restaurant for dinner. Adult situations.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
This story starts out with Anna and she's an architect with the family firm. She also teaches photography classes to some children after school hours. She finds a dog and has no idea what to do for him. Lucky the new vet has shown up on the scene and helps her wrap him to take to the clinic that he's not been able to find yet.
Sawyer is a vet and knows his work, small and large animals. Love learning how to take care of them and why they have certain moves.
They are flirting with one another but she knows she has to stop or it could end up like her last relationship... She explains that to him and he understands. They do meet for meals but they are not dates. He also buys a new bike and has to learn how to ride it, so he has her teach him some things. He's nowhere in the same ballpark but he tries.
Town has a lot of gossip about them....love unpredictable twists and turns in this story, wow!

This story starts out with Trista and she lives at the ranch and takes care of therapy horses for the children who ride them.
Story also follows Logan who's a horse whisperer/blacksmith who's left being an actor for real life.
Love hearing about all the historic places that they end up colliding at... and going with the boss, Trista's brother and his son along with Logan. They've both suffered spouse dying and others can see how relaxed they are around each other and even smiling and laughing...they are both really taken with one another. Adult situations. Love hearing all about back stories of each.
