The Way to a Cowboy's Heart by Barbara Ankrum
This story starts with Emily and she's a British citizen working and living in NYC. She works on Wall Street but is involved in community events also. One morning she's arrived at work surround by FBI and she learns her fate soon, heads home with her possessions in cardboard box. Her heel breaks, it's raining, and no strap to hold onto on the subway. Liam, all the way from Montana is visiting friends, with baby christening in a few days. He helps her out and they really connect. They part ways after he carries her box to her place. Fate takes a stand and connects them again. Love hearin about Pete and what he means to Emily. Love the dinner party and the people that partake of it. Food sounds amazing. Wish recipes were in the book.
Like how things bring her to the west, his ranch and how she has a few days with him before her visa runs out and she must go back to England...
Love all the events and events she is able to have fun with and the mysterious ones that lead to danger. Scenery is over the top along with detailed descriptions. You wonder if they can ever be together, once and for all....
Received this review copy from Tule Publishing and this is my honest opinion.
