What I like about this book is that the format is just so easy. Understandable and you can actually do what they say in the way they say it.
Lots of introductory material about the science of trauma and how to get rid of it from your body.
The format for the exercises: time needed, find a comfy position, notice your breath, feel contact points, scan for tension (and how to do that), engage one sense (how to do that), and how to close the session and why this matters.
There are so many varied exercise sessions included depending on what you need help with.
Everything is totally explained. Love all the breathing techniques and when to use each
one. References are included.
Great book to keep handy.
