One Starry Christmas Night by Barbara Hannay
Love this story because it's about the older generation and how to help them handle life these days.
Starts with Bea and she's learned her grandmother is in the hospital with a broken hip. Bea's mom was the one with the news after a weeks time.... Her parents are just too busy and her grandmother raised her throughout the year.
Nan was recovering and not alone... She has neighbors trying to find the cat and locking up Nan's house...Love hearing how her grandmother celebrates the holidays and things she makes for others. She makes up her mind to just go there and tend to things that need caring for. She gives up attending the wedding of her friend...
Story also follows Jaxon who they had gone to school in 6th grade. He's there to tend to his grandmother's needs. He's given up his job to do this for her...
Love that they can compare notes on what to do with their gaining grands.
Love mystery of whowas their father and if they are really related.  Love how they help the nursing home by doing crafts and the singing at the location. Such a beautiful thing to do.
Received this review copy from Tule Publishing via Bookprout and this is my honest opinion.
