Book Review: A Kind of Hush by JoDee Neathery

A Kind of Hush by JoDee Neathery
In this story we find Willa is blamed for not watching her younger sibling and ended up dying. Willa is now a teen and she and her parents went over the cliff at the gorge. Her father survived but in ICU and her brother who had left to take a pee in the woods still remains. Their aunt comes to take care of them and we follow the investigation. THe mother was involved in forsenic police investigations of child molesters and th elike. There was one man and the cops are following him as he gets on a bus.... He known as the candy man as he gives candies to young girls. He got invited to live in upper rooms of a garage and takes it up, laying low. Cops have also been to his mothers house and find some of his implements as well.
The grandparents take on the children at their location and we follow the dreams and visions they have of the past. Love hearing from all generations of a family, their problems and their solutions. Also all the careers of others in this story. Love learning about the clay wheel, I learn something new daily still.
This is a real creepy book for me to read and it's not gory.
Received this review copy from the publisher and this is my honest opinion.
