In this story we find Caitlin has returned to Poplar and she's sitting at a bar after the bridal shower. A man wants her attention but Brian a long lost love steps in and guides him out of the building, saving her. They realize they know one another and will spend time finding out what each have been up to since college days. Adult situations.
Love that she wants to return to TX where she and her friend will be getting a tattoo shop and she will have a job then. Problem is she is staying in town for a bit til she earns some money to get the shop going. Her ex stole all her money and she won't tell the police yet.
She ends up at Brian's house because she won't go to her parents. They get along just fine each going their own day every day. She meets others in town and they take her for a horse ride where they end up in a flowered field. She loves it and starts taking phoots that she knows she will use in her paintings and tattoo designs.
Brian is so busy with permits and the rodeo is coming to town and his new found brother will be retiring after the show from the rodeo.
Love how most everyone is there to help one another. Some like her parents shun her verbally in public. Brian's mother will throw a celebration for them.
So many twists and turns and she doesn't want to hold Brian back from his devotion to the town. She also wants her tattoo shop......
Love how it all comes together and she wishes her brother was able to be around because he was the lucky one to get away from their parents....
Can't wait to read more form this another. Love the whole series.
