I usually read woman's romance novels and I found this book refreshing in many ways. First because it is from the male point of view-they are very descriptive details but in a different way from the woman counterpoint.
The book captivated me in many ways: the northwest as we've traveled once a year there while visiting relatives and to revisit them was great! Tidbits of information that only locals would know about that reminded me of the days we spent there in Oregon.
I loved the travel up and down the coast especially. The fashion industry was a bit hit-I only know a few knit designers and the drape is what I look for and I felt the men nailed the industry on the head. The company and make up of the people that gave their all in getting the company to what it is came through as ones' heart and soul was put into it.
Loved hearing all about the fisherman and their take and how the one writing the story finishes his commitments and has a personal life but is able to spend time with each of them to get an idea of what they have brought to the company.
I received this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.
