Background starts this book off with references noted about past events that came true.
There are cycles mentioned and explains about them along with pictures.
I had watched a series on National Geographic and I found the Mayans' so fascinating.
There is science behind the discoveries also which are discussed.
Had also watched a show on tv about an asteroid that hits the earth but you'd be save in Greenland and this is in the prophecies as well.
So many different people are involved in all these predictions: Egyptian, Hindu, Gods, 
Afterword and authors notes are included at the end.
Appendices are attached also. About the author and references are indexed.

Like different combinations of flavorings, herbs and spices for the dishes. I tend to stick to basic ones we like.
