CROCHET FOR BEGINNERS - ADVANCED GUIDE: THE COMPLETE STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO LEARN ADVANCED STITCHES AND PATTERNS WITH ILLUSTRATIONS AND TIPS TO CREATE YOUR PROJECTS IN COMPLETE AUTONOMY by Patty Wilson
TOC where patterns are listed in UK and US. Techniques are discussed along with patterns.
Intro starts with discussion on crocheting and to do it relaxed.
Advanced stitches starts the first chapter, Show the stitch, how it's done, picture and step by step guide.
I never knew all these fancy ones, taught myself and ripped out a lot till I became a published crocheter.
To me this book is a reference, dictionary type, MOST treasured.
Next chapter talks about differences in US and UK terminology how to read patterns. I never learned how to read charts but this book makes it look easy!
Lightweight textured stitch patterns are included.
Each pattern has a title, summary and how to work it. There are no pictures in this section.
Techniques are shown with diagrams and pictures. This is an all in one book. the only one you'd ever need because it starts with beginner level and goes to advanced.
EVERYTHING to do with crochet is in this book. Love everything about it.
You can  even crochet to make it look like knit stitches!  Making animal shapes also is included. Conclusion ends this book.
KEEPER!
