Since the pandemic hit the restaurant we'd travel 1 1/2 hours to changed its menu and no longer offered our favorites: fish, shrimp, etc
Hoping this book will contain some of them that we can now make at home.

Each recipe starts with a title and medium size color photo. prep and cook times and servings are listed.
List of ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low fat, low sodium, low sugar and fresh vs canned items.
Directions are given and there is some nutritional information, not sure of serving size: calories, protein, carbs and fat.
 Other recipes list total fat and sodium. I'm sure if you used an app today you'd find out all the nutritional values.
There are a lot of dessert recipes I've never seen and we've visited cracker barrel in CO, MA, TN, MI, etc 
Good book to keep on hand and some recipes have a  TON of ingredients, be sure to have them all.

TOC where recipes are listed as food groups . Intro discusses what steam cooking is, we have used it and vegetables especially turn out SO well.
Benefits are listed also what temperature to steam certain foods at. Explains how it all works and mistakes you can correct..
Explains why there are NO picture sin this book and about nutritional information. Love vegetables ones the best as we are just now  harvesting the crops in the garden.
Recipes do NOT always start at the top of a new page.

This book starts out with TOC where recipes are listed. There are full page color photos of popsicles, but not sure which ones go with which recipes.
Each recipe starts with a title, to far right hand corner in a shaded box sometimes, is prep and  total time.

Directions are also included. There are color pictures in the book but I'm not sure which go with what recipes.  So many good tasty flavor combinations.

Introduction discusses what the preserving is all about and the benefits. Canning process discusses equipment needed and how it's all done.
Q&A is also included.
Each recipe starts with a title, prep, cook canning times and servings.
List of ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low fat, low sodium, low sugar and fresh vs canned items.
Directions are given, how to set the pressure and some nutritional information: calories, fat, fiber, carbs and protein.

This would be a book to keep handy as it has so many varieties of foods to preserve.

Directions are given and optional ingredients are listed as toppings.
Not only as measurements in US but also in parentheses are UK measurements.
Some of these sound very decadent, oh yum!
Such varieties I want to try them all myself!
There are NO pictures and NO nutritional information.
 Adult hot chocolate recipes contain liquor, Comes with whipped toppings recipes also.

Short intro about the author and his superfoods cookbooks.
Also food allergy labels: soy free, gluten free, dairy free, egg free, vegan and nut free.

Some dishes contain a lot of ingredients, be sure to have them all from the start.
Color medium size phot is included.
For directions you just put everything in the slow cooker and it tells you time.
There is NO nutritional information but you can make this as healthy as you want, low sodium products, no cans, use fresh.
Like homemade broths and soups and stews.
There is bonus chapter on side dishes, most helpful.
Superfoods reference listing is enclosed. Other works by the author are highlighted at the end, but links do not work.
Good book to keep handy if you know how to make your food healthier.
