Book starts with table of contents where recipes are listed as different ice cream styles: ice cream, gelato, sherbet, frozen yogurt.

Intro discusses how to make ice cream at home. We had a maker when we were growing up but in this book there are also ways to make it without an ice cream maker.
each recipe starts with a title, and servings than a medium size color picture.
List of ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low fat, low sodium, low sugar and fresh vs canned items.
Directions are given with a maker and without one. . Nutritional information per serving includes calories, fat, carbs, sugars, protein and sodium.
A KEEPER so we won't have to buy it at the store and make it healthier at home.
Appendix and conversion tables are included.

Some contain a LOT of items, be sure ot have them all. Use fresh instead of canned items.
