COMPANION PLANTING For Beginners: Organic & Sustainable Super-Effective Tips Anyone Can Use to Maximize Space And Yield A Bountiful Harvest While Keeping Your Garden Pest & Disease-Free On A Budget

Lve this book because it explains a lot: terms used and what they mean in relation to planting and your garden. Love the lists of companion plants and those that you should avoid planting near one another. There is so much to this book: maintaining, watering, and space. Even sections for planting in pots and love the vertical gardening. We have done all these methods but my favorite is the three sister that I learned about from the Pilgrims nearby and how it works. So cool and basically pest free.
Have my garden laid out with companion plants in place and even more space for things like cucumbers that have their own fenced in area and they grow up the fence. Easier to see the harvest.
We make our own compost and the book explains in detail how you can also do it yourself.
Pest control is huge so catch them early.  Book explains how to prevent them and how to deal with them if you get them.
Love that you can use herbs to control some pests also. so easy to do.
Landscaping is also discussed and how you should grow your veggies under them for many reasons.
Even has a section to get kids involved and exactly how to make it fun for them to help out.
Even has recipes at the end of how to combine your harvest into a meal for the family.
How to preserve the harvest is also detailed, so many different methods.
Gather seeds for next years planting and how to do it. Seasonal plantings is also discussed and how to go about it and what to plant.
Printable garden plans are also included in the book.
Other books are listed at the end to help you with further information.
Climate change and global warming is also discussed in the book.
A KEEPER!
