Another chapter  explains what somatic yoga is, origins, principles mind/body connection, benefits
for somatic yoga, props you will need at the ready, comfortable area,  equipment and space,  and preparing emotionally and mentally.
What I particularly like is the exercise starts out with a title and has QR code to watch a youtube video, picture o f the pose is shown, starting position along with words that tell you how to make the full movement. Tells you how long to hold the pose and what to focus on and how to release. Gives you hints and tips about reflecting and foundation you're building over the weeks.
Certain exercises also target  different issues, love the section on weight loss.
Great resource book to keep handy!
