Love this book. It discusses many other mammals and how they givt birth and raise their children. Not quite like we do. Some have them and leave them right away. Some nuture for a few weeks. Others just produce them and get out of there, leaving the baby to fend for themselves.
I don't care if it's your first or fourteenth, every baby is different and you do the best you can with what you have.
