Not only salads are in this book but the dressings.
I like the spices and herbs that are already in my pantry and how to mix them together to make things like French dressing,  and the salads that will go with.
Love the combinations of foods, all fresh.
Recipes start with a title and has a list of ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low fat, low sodium, low sugar and fresh vs canned items.
Directions are given. There is NO nutritional information and NO pictures. All ingredients are fresh vegetables and spices.

Each recipe has its own title, to far right hand corner it has prep and total time, servings and some nutritional information: calories, fat, NOT broken up into good or bad, cholesterol, sodium, carbs and protein. Some pages have a dark background with white lettering, other pages have white background with light gray lettering, hard to see.
List of ingredients are included and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low sodium, low fat, low sugar and fresh vs. canned items.
Directions are given. There are NO specific photos of the items, they could be on another page but they are NOT identified.
Love combination of flavors and want to try quite a few.

I would substitute the canned items for fresh. I have the time.
Love that these are for just two servings and know that i can double it if i have 4 for a meal.
Cinnamon apple delight would be my choice during fall when we pick fresh apples.

Recipes would be great for when I have about 20 others over as they do serve a lot.
Blueberry would be my favorite choice, just started picking them this weekend in northeast to store in freezer for during the year.

Soups would be my favorite choice.

Recipes have a LOT of ingredients, be sure to have them all.  Some ask for a can of tomatoes, I'd go out into the garden and pick a few to make up the ounces it requires. all fresh.

Like seafood recipes also, not crusty salt breading.
Monkey bread is a fun one to eat.
